David McConville is a media artist and theorist whose work explores the potential of scientific data, cultural imagery, and immersive environments to visualize multiple perspectives on humanity's home in the cosmos. He is co-founder of The Elumenati (www.elumenati.com), a design and engineering firm creates custom media installations for clients including NASA, NOAA, Disney, NVIDIA, Burning Man, and Cirque du Soleil. He is also President of the Buckminster Fuller Institute (www.bfi.org), creative director of the Worldviews Network (www.worldviews.net), and currently conducting his final year of PhD research for the Planetary Collegium, an international network for research in art, technology and consciousness based in the University of Plymouth.
