About

I teach on the BA(hons)Illustration course at Plymouth University, part of the communication arts subject area. My research interests orbit around  a practice based inquiry into visual narrative. It is primarily a task that explores the power of drawing.
I am currently illustrating my own script for a wordless book, using an ethnographic approach to the storytelling itself. The images are drawn using a variety of traditional and digital media.
In Feb 2012 I completed a collaborative project entitled 'Human Geography' working with designer Dean Owens and idat Datalab2 project. http://x2.i-dat.org/
I am a member of the Message research group.
If you share an interest in this form of visual communication, or have a project that you feel could benefit from an inventive visualisation process
then please contact me.
