About

Ok, schooled in Redruth when fishing, mining and engineering could still be thought of as viable options. However, volunteered into the Royal Navy to see if life existed beyond the Tamar. It did. Married, 3 children, studied Sociology and Politics, Divorced, then Registered Nurse. Brief spell in London at the Royal College of Nursing before returning to Plymouth to teach. Lost way a bit. Been debating with the ghost of Marx since. The Frankfurt school influences. Rave culture and drugs, the sociology of health and illness, sustainable health and living. 'Religion poisons everything'. Malt whisky and music. Bonneville. Family.
